Artist Bio:
Originally from New England, Bonnie Kolmodin has called Charleston, SC home for over 30 years. From the time she found her first box of crayons as a child, Bonnie lay in bed most nights imagining pictures in her head. She brings these images to fruition in a variety of media from ceramics and glass to oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastels.
Bonnie is known primarily for her one of a kind hand blown glass necklaces…some of which were hand selected by the Smithsonian Institute for a traveling exhibit. The collection is to be placed in the permanent collection of the prominent Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC following the close of the exhibit.
Bonnie has trained under such International talents as artist and sculptor, Tom Durham, whom currently resides in Boston.
