Based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jake Patten is an emerging full-time artist working in a variety of mediums from oil and acrylic to mixed media and en caustic works.
Recently Jake exhibited in Chicago and was very well received as reflected by his numerous sales.
Jake's uncanny ability to read individuals emotions and convey those emotions to the viewer through his painting could be assimilated to that of the Italian Sculptor Alberto Giacometti. His portraits lead the viewer, no matter there background, to question what his subjects are thinking and feeling.
A new talent virtually unheard of and rare to exhibit his work, Patten's works range from small to quite large. Prices begin in the low hundreds, perfect for aspiring collectors and art enthusiasts eager to purchase original works but often stumped by escalated inflammatory gallery prices.
